World Cup 2010 will take place soon. The soccer maniacs (including me!!) from various countries certainly can’t wait to see the great matches.

Besides that….especially for ladies, this prestigious event will also become a gathering place for many ‘good-looking’ soccer stars from different countries.

Well, there is no particular reason why i wrote this article. It’s just that sometime i’m kind of jealous with these 10 soccer players Why? coz every time they showed in a certain match, every ladies (including my girlfriend) always said, “ohh..he is so hot !!”.

10. Nelson Valdez

Nelson Haedo Valdez was born in Caaguazu on 28 November 1983. Nelson is the type of player that has the South American skills. With his 1.79 m height he become a popular Paraguayan soccer player among the girls. Maybe his best performances were in October 2005, first in the qualifying match against Argentina in Asuncion where he was the man-of-the-match, and second, in the next match against Venezuela where he scored his first goal with the senior team winning the affection of all Paraguayans fans.

9. Del Piero

Alessandro Del Piero was born on November 9, 1974 in Conegliano Veneto, Italy. Until the year 2009, Del Piero is the Italian player with the highest salary. Though not tall, he’s considered creative enough to help the attack, making assists and scoring. Ability to take free kicks and penalties too unquestioning. Popularity and his charismatic performance led him deserve as a Golden Boy of Italian soccer.Oasis is one of his favorite bands and he was good friends with vocalist / guitarist Noel Gallagher. 8. Lucas Podolski

This guy was born in the industrial town of Gliwice, Poland. Podolski had a grandfather and a citizen living in Germany, so the family intends Podolski moved to Germany.

1. Ricardo Kaka

Kaka’s full name is Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite. Born in Brasilia on April 22, 1982. The name ‘Kaka’ obtained from his brother that can’t called ‘Ricardo’ correctly.

When his family moved to Sao Paulo, a small Kaka dreams of becoming a tennis player, but then talent scouts from the club Sao Paulo found him and Kaka had a special menu to bring up his body.

Kaka signed his first contract at age 15 years and won the Copa de Juvenil with the junior team of Sao Paulo in 2000.

Kaka ever had a fatal bakbones injury when he was swimming and almost paralyzed, but he had experienced a total recovery.

Kaka believes his recovery can not be separated from his persistence of religion. Therefore up until now, Kaka become a generous man who always donate money to the church. Kaka also wearing soccer shoes or socks in that says ‘I belong to Jesus’. In addition, Kaka was also fond of spiritual music.

Since November 2004 Kaka became ambassador to the UN in the field of world food against hunger program.
