What’s New For Fall Fashion 2009
Anybody likes being current and in style. This fall’s fashion styles are hot and ready to make a hit for you, especially with some of the latest hand bags. The best part about these fashion styles is that you don’t have to purchase a whole new wardrobe to fit in fashion-wise. You can use what you already have and just accent with a few new accessories.
The first major trend of the season is leather. Leggings made of leather, leather jackets, leather skirts, handbags made of leather, and leather hats will all star in this fall’s fashionable wear.
Are you stashing any leather items in your wardrobe? Now is the time to pull it out in preparation for fall. You are sure to turn heads like never before. Plaid is another look that you probably have hiding in your closet. The lumberjack look will all be making an appearance this winter. I can’t help to think of cozy fireplaces and hot chocolate with this seasons trends, plaid is one of my favorite looks for the season. Typically too busy to wear with plaid, lace is in for the winter too.
Lace is compatible with strong jewel tones such as cranberry, cobalt, purple, and hunter green. Vibrant colors such as these were showcased by every major designer this year and promise to lift spirits on humdrum winter days. Gray is another vogue development, especially when paired with jewel tones or plaid.
Striking shoulders promise eye-catching results to those daring enough to try them. Shoulder dresses, padded shoulder coats, and accordion pleat blouses all accentuated the eroticism of shoulders and drew eyes up to the face. Ruffles abound on necklines, hemlines, shoes, and skirts. animal prints are still huge, having lost none of their appeal since being showcased both in the spring and last winter. If wearing a full leopard print trench coat is too daring for your tastes, consider trying just animal print accessories. Even small touches like this will turn your outfit into a runway copycat.
If you thought the animal prints were edgy, you might want to stop reading here. Rocker-chic looks are in for fall 2009. Studs, rivets, big bold buckles, and chains will all be ruling boots, shoes, jackets, hand bags, and other accessories. Thigh high, skin tight boots are also the latest craze. Actually, pretty much any boot is in style in nude or neutral colors. Layers are a popular look, paired with skinny pants or leggings. Many designers have opted for the belted or cinched waist to keep you from appearing too top heavy .
